Human Stem Cell Factor ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Stem Cell Factor (SCF), this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is reactive with human samples. It is suitable for the quantitative measurement of SCF in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips). An antibody specific for SCF is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and samples are added and SCF present in each sample is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following incubation, wells are washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-SCF Antibody, which binds the captured SCF, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualize the reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and the SCF concentration is determined by referring to the standard curve.

The product range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <12.2 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past the stated expiration date.
