Human Statherin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Statherin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate and uses a biotinylated anti-Statherin detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with colour development read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 3.12-200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <1.33 ng/ml, and the protocol has a total assay time of 4h 30m. In spiked recovery testing (n=5 per matrix), recoveries of 80-102% (average 91%) were obtained in serum, 81-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are provided for the same three sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date.

The product is classified per Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) with the signal word "Warning" and carries the hazard statements H315 (skin irritation), H317 (may cause an allergic skin reaction), H319 (serious eye irritation) and H411 (toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects).
