Human Stanniocalcin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Stanniocalcin 1/STC in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format of 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-Stanniocalcin 1/STC detection antibody with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, yielding a yellow product read at 450 nm whose intensity is proportional to the amount of target captured.

Key performance specifications include a standard curve range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <27 pg/ml, a total assay time of 4h 30m, and detection on a colorimetric microplate reader. Reagents are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery averages (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
