Human Squalene Epoxidase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Squalene Epoxidase in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-Squalene Epoxidase detection antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.

Reported performance figures include an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.118 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m. Sample recovery values (n=5) are reported as 80% - 102% in serum (average 91%), 81% - 100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%), and 80% - 89% in heparin plasma (average 84%).
