Human Sphingosine 1 Phosphate Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human S1P1/EDG1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human S1P1/EDG1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-S1P1/EDG1 detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Average recovery (n=5) is reported as 91% (range 80%–102%) for serum, 90% (81%–100%) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (80%–89%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions is reported: serum (n=5) at 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, and 92–97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, and 79–108%; heparin plasma (n=5) at 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, and 89–91%.
