Human Sphingosine-1-Phosphate Phosphatase 1 ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the determination of human SGPP1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, with SGPP1 captured by an immobilised antibody, detected using a biotinylated anti-SGPP1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, and visualised with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and SGPP1 concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed.

Sensitivity is reported as 0.062 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Average recovery values were 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5).
