Human Spermine Oxidase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Spermine Oxidase (SMOX) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-SMOX detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is achieved with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.128 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are shipped and stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol; kits should not be used past their expiration date. The kit is specific for human SMOX and is validated for use with tissue homogenates.
