Human Spermidine/Spermine N1-Acetyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SAT1 (Spermidine/Spermine N1-Acetyltransferase 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and employs a biotinylated anti-SAT1 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colourimetric reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the intensity of the resulting yellow product proportional to the amount of SAT1 captured in each well.

The standard assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.29 ng/ml. The total run time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated for each item.
