Human SPARC Like Protein 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SPARCL1 (SPARC Like Protein 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a standard sandwich immunoassay format: an immobilised capture antibody binds SPARCL1 in standards and samples, a biotinylated anti-SPARCL1 antibody is added, and detection is achieved with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Performance characteristics quoted by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of <0.124 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery (n=5) is reported for serum (80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%-101%, average 91%) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%), and dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is also provided for the same sample types.

Kit components comprise a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, with individual storage temperatures of +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the label.
