Antibodies.com supplies this quantitative immunoassay kit for measuring the monocarboxylate transporter MCT4 (SLC16A3) in human research samples. The 96T microplate kit targets the proton-linked lactate exporter that is overexpressed in glycolytic tumor cells and hypoxic tissue microenvironments, and supports investigation of cancer metabolism, Warburg-effect studies, lactate shuttle physiology, and exercise-metabolism research.
The kit delivers a detection range of 0.781 to 50 ng/mL with sensitivity 0.28 ng/mL, using recombinant protein standards and pre-coated wells. Researchers load tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell-culture supernatants; MCT4 concentrations are interpolated from a seven-point standard curve run in duplicate. A human-specific capture antibody limits cross-reactivity with the closely related MCT1, MCT2, and MCT3 transporters.
Each pack of one 96T plate includes plate sealers, detection reagents, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer concentrate, and standard diluent. Reagents are shipped refrigerated and should be stored refrigerated to preserve activity; avoid freeze-thaw cycles and equilibrate all components to room temperature before use. The kit is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic procedures.
