Human Sodium/Glucose Cotransporter 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Sodium/Glucose Cotransporter 2 (SGLT2). The assay is intended for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.

Standards and samples are added to a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for SGLT2. Captured SGLT2 is detected using a biotinylated anti-SGLT2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change whose intensity is proportional to SGLT2 concentration, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Key specifications include a sensitivity of 0.27 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in serum is 80%–102% (average 91%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%, n=5), and in heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is also characterised for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
