Human Sodium/Glucose Cotransporter 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SGLT1 (Sodium/Glucose Cotransporter 1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, achieving a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The colourmetric reaction is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each), yielding average recoveries of 91% (range 80–102%), 90% (range 81–100%), and 84% (range 80–89%) respectively. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 was also assessed for the same three sample types. The kit components include a lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, with items stored at either +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
