Human Smoothelin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Smoothelin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-Smoothelin detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.126 ng/ml with a measuring range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. In manufacturer validation, average recovery across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma ranged from 84% to 91% (n=5 per matrix), and dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 fell within 74-108% depending on sample type. The kit should not be used past the stated expiration date.
