Human Slit Homolog 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Slit3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit is supplied by Antibodies.com and is run on a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) pre-coated with anti-Slit3 antibody. Captured Slit3 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Slit3 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin, and the reaction is visualised with TMB substrate. After addition of acidic stop solution, absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader; the yellow intensity is proportional to the Slit3 concentration. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.

Stated performance: assay range 0.156-10 ng/ml and sensitivity <0.058 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery was 82%-102% (average 92%) in serum (n=5), 91%-98% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 86%-101% (average 93%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2-1:16 was 73-109% to 77-105% for serum (n=5), 95-98% to 90-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80-104% to 81-109% for heparin plasma (n=5). The kit is for research use only.
