Human Six Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen Of The Prostate 2 ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate onto which an antibody specific for STEAP2 is immobilised. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-STEAP2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The optical density is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the STEAP2 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.
