Human Sirtuin 7 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Sirtuin 7 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for SIRT7 and follows the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and captured SIRT7 is detected using a biotinylated anti-SIRT7 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay covers a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.071 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values include 80–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
