Human Sirtuin 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SIRT2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised capture antibody specific for SIRT2, followed by a biotinylated anti-SIRT2 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Detection is colourimetric, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with a reported sensitivity of 0.61 ng/ml and a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Manufacturer recovery data report averages of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the protocol, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
