From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD22 (Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and a colourmetric detection method employing a biotinylated anti-CD22 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The reported sensitivity is less than 0.134 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Mean recovery is 91% in serum, 91% in EDTA plasma, and 84% in heparin plasma. An easy-to-follow protocol is provided.
