Human Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Sialoadhesin/CD169 (also known as Sialic Acid Binding Ig Like Lectin 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for Sialoadhesin/CD169 pre-coated onto the plate, with a biotinylated anti-Sialoadhesin/CD169 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.055 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date. In undiluted samples, reported recovery averages 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity was reported across sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
