Human SH3 Domain Binding Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SH3BP2 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. An antibody specific for SH3BP2 is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and test samples are added and the SH3BP2 present is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-SH3BP2 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution. The HRP enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The stated assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.126 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) ranges from 80%–102% with an average of 91%; in EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81%–101% averaging 91%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) from 80%–89% averaging 84%. Dilution linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.
