Human Sex Determining Region Y Box Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SOX1 (Sex Determining Region Y Box Protein 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
