Human SET Domain Containing Protein 7 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SET7 (SET Domain Containing Protein 7) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. It uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay method with SET7-specific antibody pre-coated onto a microplate, followed by detection with a Biotinylated Anti-SET7 Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Results are read colorimetrically at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. The protocol is suitable for tissue homogenates and runs in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values include serum at 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma at 81–100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma at 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported at 87–91% to 92–97% for serum, 90–105% to 79–108% for EDTA plasma, and 84–95% to 89–91% for heparin plasma.

The kit is supplied as a pre-coated microplate in strip format, together with lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
