Human Serum Amyloid A ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, this Human Serum Amyloid A ELISA Kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Serum Amyloid A in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection on a colorimetric microplate reader by reading the absorbance at 450 nm. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has a stated product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.125 ng/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery values are: serum (n=5) 80%–102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% with an average of 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity is documented across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
