Human Serpin E1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Serpin E1 in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma samples. The assay uses a monoclonal antibody specific for human Serpin E1 immobilised on microwells, followed by a biotin-linked detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP for colourimetric readout. Substrate conversion is stopped with acid and the optical density is measured on a microplate reader.

The kit is reactive with human samples and has shown no significant cross-reactivity. It can assay both native and recombinant human Serpin E1. The reported assay range is 312.50 – 20000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 1.53 pg/ml, and average recovery from serum samples is 90%. Storage is at +4°C and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
