Human Serotonin Transporter ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Serotonin Transporter in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for Serotonin Transporter, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-Serotonin Transporter Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour whose intensity is proportional to Serotonin Transporter concentration, read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 13.6 pg/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values reported across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 range from 74% to 108%. Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
