Human Serine Palmitoyltransferase, Long Chain Base Subunit 3 ELISA Kit

In the workflow, an antibody specific for SPTLC3 immobilises the target from standards and test samples, followed by a biotinylated anti-SPTLC3 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped to produce a yellow colour, the intensity of which is proportional to the amount of SPTLC3 captured in each well. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma, with linear dilution performance across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions typically falling between 74% and 108% across the tested matrices.
