Human Serine/Arginine Rich Splicing Factor 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SC35 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with 12 x 8 well strips and a colorimetric detection method. An antibody specific for SC35 is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, and bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-SC35 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The reaction produces a yellow-coloured product whose intensity is proportional to the SC35 concentration, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The quoted assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml, and the total protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%), each tested with n=5. Linearity-of-dilution data are reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for each sample matrix. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit is not to be used past its expiration date.
