Human Sepiapterin Reductase ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human Sepiapterin Reductase (SPR) ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro measurement of human SPR in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-SPR antibody, with SPR in standards or samples bound to the wells, washed, and detected using a biotinylated anti-SPR antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow-coloured product read at 450 nm and quantified against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.108 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data includes recovery in serum (80%–102%, n=5, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, n=5, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%–89%, n=5, average 84%), alongside linearity data across serial dilutions for the same sample types.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
