Human Semenogelin II ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Semenogelin II (SGII) in tissue homogenates, seminal plasma, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised anti-SGII antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-SGII detection antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the SGII concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml and sensitivity is <0.114 ng/ml [S1]. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min [S1]. Spike-and-recovery performance across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5 each) is reported, with average recoveries of 91% (serum), 90% (EDTA plasma) and 84% (heparin plasma), alongside serial-dilution linearity ranges for each matrix [S1].
