Human Semenogelin I ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Semenogelin I in serum, plasma, seminal plasma and other biological fluids. Reactive with Human samples, the assay is read on a colourimetric microplate reader measuring absorbance at 450 nm and uses a pre-coated microplate. Detection relies on a biotinylated anti-Semenogelin I antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the yellow intensity is proportional to the amount of Semenogelin I captured per well.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.058 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit contents include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
