Human Semaphorin 7A ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro determination of human Semaphorin 7A. The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate, a biotinylated anti-Semaphorin 7A antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery was evaluated at n=5 per matrix, giving averages of 91% for serum (range 83-100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 91-101%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 91-101%). Linearity has been assessed across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in each of the three sample types.
