Human Semaphorin 4D ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative measurement of human Semaphorin 4D (also referred to as CD100) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, and uses a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate to produce a colorimetric readout read at 450 nm.

The standard curve spans a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.64 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed and should not be used past the stated expiration date.

Reported average recovery is 91% in serum (range 83–100%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 91–99%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90–99%), with dilution linearity demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix (n=5).
