Human Semaphorin 4A ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Semaphorin 4A (SEMA4A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-SEMA4A detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with an acidic stop solution producing a yellow product read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The stated assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml, and the protocol is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 91% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity ranges supplied across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (80–110%), EDTA plasma (70–108%) and heparin plasma (79–110%).
