Human Semaphorin 3F ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Semaphorin 3F in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format, with a biotinylated anti-Semaphorin 3F detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Stated performance figures include an assay range of 46.8–3000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <19.25 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery data (n=5) show average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 83–100%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 91–99%) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90–99%). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices.
