Human Semaphorin 3E ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative measurement of human Semaphorin 3E in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay is built on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-Semaphorin 3E detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5 per matrix) reported ranges of 83-100% (serum, average 91%), 91-99% (EDTA plasma, average 95%), and 90-99% (heparin plasma, average 94%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with reported ranges of 78-102%, 90-100%, 80-104%, and 86-97% for serum; 95-103%, 81-109%, 87-91%, and 88-107% for EDTA plasma; and 74-101%, 92-97%, 90-105%, and 84-102% for heparin plasma.
