Human Semaphorin 3C ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Semaphorin 3C in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported sensitivity is 12.2 pg/ml and the standard curve covers an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Average recovery values in spiked samples are reported as approximately 91% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma, with observed ranges of 83–100%, 91–99% and 90–99% respectively. Linearity by serial dilution shows serum recoveries of 78–104%, EDTA plasma of 81–109% and heparin plasma of 74–105% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
