Human Selenium Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Selenium Binding Protein 1 (SBP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Selenium Binding Protein 1/SBP pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-SBP Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution produces a coloured product that turns yellow after stop solution is added, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a product range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.125 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
