Human Selectin, Leukocyte ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is configured for the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD62L (L-selectin) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, and is intended for research use only.

The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay format on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips. After standards and samples are added, captured CD62L is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-CD62L Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; colour development is read as O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Sensitivity is <0.068 ng/ml and the working assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported average spike-and-recovery values are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma.
