Human Secretogranin V ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Secretogranin V in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a colorimetric detection method; after incubation with Biotinylated Anti-Secretogranin V antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, TMB substrate produces a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with the yellow colour density being proportional to Secretogranin V concentration. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <5.5 pg/ml, with an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery (n=5 per matrix) averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Linearity across dilutions 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated in serum (74%-107%), EDTA plasma (79%-108%) and heparin plasma (82%-105%).

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well plate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. The kit must not be used past its expiration date.
