Human Secretogranin III ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Secretogranin 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-Secretogranin 3 detection antibody in combination with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Bound analyte is visualised using TMB substrate, which produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is then read at 450 nm in a colourimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.054 ng/ml, with a working assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Validated sample matrices include serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and the kit is also described as suitable for tissue homogenates. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
