Human Secretin ELISA Kit

A competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Secretin/SCT in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection carried out on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. Total assay time is 2 hours 30 minutes.

The kit reports a product range of 23.4–1500 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <7.25 pg/ml. Recovery has been characterised in spiked samples: serum (n=5) ranged 80%–102% (mean 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) ranged 81%–100% (mean 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) ranged 80%–89% (mean 84%). Linearity of dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each). Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and use only before the stated expiration date.
