Human Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Secreted Frizzled Related Protein 1 (SFRP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.055 ng/ml, with a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 m. Standards and samples are incubated with a biotinylated anti-SFRP1 antibody followed by an HRP–avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the colour change after addition of stop solution is proportional to the amount of SFRP1 captured in each well. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery has been characterised in serum (80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5). Linearity on serial dilution from 1:2 to 1:16 covered 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma.
