Human Sclerostin Domain Containing Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SOSTDC1 (Sclerostin Domain Containing Protein 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The test uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. An antibody specific for SOSTDC1 captures the analyte, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-SOSTDC1 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Sample recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5; range 80%–102%; average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5; range 81%–101%; average 91%) and heparin plasma (n=5; range 80%–89%; average 84%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
