Human SCG3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative determination of human Secretogranin 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The 4-hour assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated detection antibody; signal is generated by HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay is specific for Secretogranin 3, with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Validated sample dilutions are 1:2 for healthy serum and plasma (in Sample Dilution Buffer) and undiluted K562 cell lysate. Observed recovery for undiluted samples was 87–103% (average 94%) in serum, 88–102% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma and 87–101% (average 94%) in heparin plasma; across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, recoveries for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma spanned roughly 81–107%.

The kit is shipped at +4°C. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Synonyms for the target include SCG3, Secretogranin III, Secretogranin-3 and SgIII.
