Human Sarcoglycan Delta ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human delta Sarcoglycan in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for delta Sarcoglycan. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-delta Sarcoglycan Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the reaction, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.24 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5).
