Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this ELISA kit targets human S100 Calcium Binding Protein B (S100 beta) and is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of S100 beta in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a sandwich ELISA format with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Validated for human samples, the kit features a pre-coated microplate and reports a sensitivity of 0.053 ng/ml across a standard range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been characterised in serum (range 83-100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 91-102%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (range 89-102%, average 95%). Linearity across serial dilutions has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Included components comprise a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solution A, detection solution B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers.
