Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA developed by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human S100A9 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and uses a biotinylated anti-S100A9 detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The standard curve covers a product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.24 ng/ml. Reported recovery in spiked samples (n=5) is 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity values across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
