Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A8 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MRP8 (also known as S100 Calcium Binding Protein A8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), using a biotinylated anti-MRP8 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The product range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 26 pg/ml. Average recovery values were 91% in serum, 91% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma.
