Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A4 (S100A4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, and uses a biotinylated anti-S100A4 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The total assay time is 4h 30m. The kit has a working standard range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <29 pg/ml. Reported average recovery values (n=5) are 91% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
