Human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A14 ELISA Kit

This quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human S100 Calcium Binding Protein A14 (S100A14) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised capture antibody specific for S100A14. Standards and samples are incubated with a biotinylated anti-S100A14 detection antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <0.102 ng/ml and the standard curve range is 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol. Reported ranges for spiked recovery in serum (n=5) were 83–100% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma 90–98% (average 94%), and in heparin plasma 89–102% (average 95%).
